Apr 21, 2021 @ 2:30 PM - Apr 21, 2021 @ 4:30 PM

The WISA Process Controller Division is hosting a “Back-to-Basics” webinar series.  The series is to cover the major process units that make up a Water or Wastewater Treatment Works and is intended to share knowledge in an informal and interactive way.

During the second webinar in this series, our guest will be talking us through the history of his plant.   He will take us through the changes he has seen, how the plant slowly turned into one that was technically non-operational and how it was revitalised back into a works that is once again able to serve just over 100 000 people – an example worth replicating all over South Africa.

Hosts: Dewald van Staden and Richard Magwanya
Date: 21 April 2021 at 14h30
Platform: Zoom
Cost: Free – space is however limited and WISA members in good standing will receive preferential access to the session.

The Process Controller Division of WISA is passionate about capacitating the staff involved in the operation of our Water Services Works, so we would like to encourage WISA members to spread the word and invite these vital members of the Water Care fraternity to join us for these training sessions and/or to get involved in facilitating these sessions by assisting Process Controllers in accessing the platform.
